Zat is an English-language rockband from Haarlem, The Netherlands.

Zat sports distinct influence of eighties wave and nineties rock.

Zat was formed in 2001. Singer Chielie joined March 2003. Zat delivered its first demo CD in 2004. It was simply called 'Zat'.

Zat tentatively played several venues of increasing importance around Haarlem in 2007, generating a fanbase now eagerly awaiting more to come.

Following the departure of guitarist Idze Spilker in 2008 due to musical differences, Zat, meanwhile, evolved towards a cleaner, more direct sound.
